Hurricane A/C & Heater System for 1953-1956 Ford Trucks
Old Air Products is now offering their popular 5000 Series Hurricane A/C, heat, and defrost systems for 1953-1956 Ford trucks with their new custom SuperKool condenser assembly. The new condenser kit features custom mounting brackets using the original mounting hole in core support and preformed aluminum tubes to connect condenser, dryer, and pass neatly through the core support. (Available for driver- or passenger-side mounted compressor.) The Hurricane unit mounts to the firewall in place of the original heater. Fittings pass neatly through the original blower motor hole in the firewall using a custom rubber grommet. Dual center louver and custom corner louvers are included for 1953-1955 and rectangular underdash louvers for the 1956 F-100s. Choice of cable or electronic controls and upgrade available for electronic slide or rotary control panel. A variety of compressor mounting brackets are available to fit many engine applications. Upgrades for polished or chrome compressor are available along with electric fans and trinary pressure safety switch to maximize the A/C system performance.

The new FiTech Dual Pump Force Fuel System makes the upgrade to EFI easy while supporting serious horsepower—up to 1,600 hp! The system works in concert with a mechanical or electric fuel pump to supply the Force Fuel reservoir with fuel where it is then fed through two internal 340-LPH pumps to feed the EFI system. Dual internal regulators keep the pressure at a consistent 58 psi, which is ideal for reliable EFI performance. With a strong, versatile mounting bracket, the Force Fuel System easily mounts underhood. The assembly holds a ½ gallon of fuel to submerge the efficient pumps with no chance of fuel starvation. It is the easiest way to deliver fuel to your serious, fuel-hungry engine. Capable of supporting the fuel demands of a 1,600hp engine (on gasoline), it is equipped with two 340-LPH fuel pumps with internal regulators for reliable fuel delivery to high-output engines. A sturdy, versatile mounting bracket provides a side or bottom mount. Increased fuel capacity over other systems with no chance of cavitation, and it’s compatible with E-85, alcohol, or methanol-based fuels.

Granatelli Motor Sports proudly introduces their true “bolt-on” 112mm Drive-By-Wire LS Series throttle body. Precision CNC-machined from 6061 billet aluminum to exceed the demands required to increase airflow on all drive-by-wire LSX performance applications, both naturally aspirated and forced induction. With the industry’s strongest electric motor, it is as tame as stock around town and can still handle upwards of 25 pounds of boost in a draw-through or blow-through configuration. The Granatelli Motor Sports unique throttle blade design and super powerful electric motors prevent the throttle blade from being forced closed under high-boosted applications, and are designed to exceed the requirements of increased airflow on the drive-by-wire LSX performance engines when using factory or aftermarket manifolds. This is a must for anyone running a TVS, Whipple, or roots-type supercharger. It utilizes the late-model GM 6-Pin LS style connector and employs the traditional 112mm standard bolt pattern (tuning is required). Available in natural anodized aluminum finish and black. Best of all, the Granatelli Motor Sports drive-by-wire throttle bodies come complete with superstrong stepper motors and the electronics installed. There is no need to disassemble your factory throttle body.
